Its all new display

Both the Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 boast a big, 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display (which posed 2340 x 1080 resolution!), which means you can see finer details of your shots because of the sharper contrast and more dynamic lockers. The A50 also has an on-screen fingerprint unlock, making it easier than ever to unlock your phone. The A30 gets a conventional fingerprint sensor on the back.

Its all-around camera

The new Galaxy A30 and A50, just like any other Samsung smartphone of this generation, promises great photography capabilities perfect for trips of any kind. The A50 sports a 123-degree ultra wide angle at 8 megapixels (MP), which means you can capture images as far as you can see, and save memories just as you remember it. Its 25MP low-light camera also helps you capture clear high resolution daytime photos, while its F1.7 aperture lets you take sharp and bright images even in low-light conditions. It also has a 5MP live focus, which can give your pictures an artistic flair with the bokeh effect.

The Galaxy A30, on the other hand, offers dual rear cameras—with 16MP both for the main (5MP ultra-wide) and front cameras.

Its all day battery

Both the A50 and A30 offer a 4000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, which means a chance to use them all day long without hassle!

Its do-all performance

The A50 has an advanced 6 gigabyte (GB) RAM and 128GB ROM, which means you can watch videos, browse your social media, play games, do some work, all at once without worrying about your phone shutting down.

The A30, meanwhile, has an Octa-core Exynos 7904 processor (the same sturdy one found in the Samsung Galaxy M20), as well as a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

The Galaxy A50 and A30 will both be available starting March 30, 2019 at PHP17,990 and PHP13,990 respectively (suggested retail prices).

From March 16 to 29, you can pre-order the A50 through Samsung stores nationwide and online partners Abenson, Argomall, Lazada, Memo Express, and Shopee. The pre-orders will come with a free J8L Go 2 speaker worth PHP2299, a mini tripod worth PHP1499, and a 10,000 mAh battery pack worth PHP1299. People who purchase the A30 from March 30 to 31 will also get a free JBL Go 2 speaker.
