The first phone offering of Samsung for 2018 is the new Galaxy A8 and A8+ that boasts of being the first Samsung phone to have dual front camera, FHD+ sAMOLED infinity display, IP68 water and dust resistant up to 1.5 meters and 30 minutes in fresh water and more features.
The 16MP + 8MP dual front camera has the ability to blur the background of a selfie photo and has an LED flash plus face detection autofocus. The main camera is 16MP F1.7 good for low light conditions. The Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ has 32gb or 64 gb expandable up to 256gb via micro sd card.

The new A series phones has Bixby integrated in the system. The displays arw 5.6 inches and 6.0 inches super AMOLED for the A8 and A8+ respectively, 18:5:9 display ratio with 16M colors. Battery is 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh for the bigger version.
The Galaxy A8 and A8+ comes in gold and black and will be available later this month.
